Barber Journey - July

In July, I started my barber career and cut my first client’s hair. I was seriously nervous at first, but once I got into it, something clicked. I realized that I wanted to dive into this world of barbering. I had no idea just how much I’d fall in love with it. Each haircut made me more excited, and I knew I wanted to fully commit to being a barber. It was wild to discover this passion I never knew I had.

During this time wasn't charging at all for about 4 months. When suddenly I felt confident about charging $5, however, I was still nervous thinking about If I would still have clients. Surprisingly I did and I sort of got known around school, people would clown on me but I always saw it as motivation. I knew I wanted to be better and now all thanks to God I now charge $15 and hopefully soon I might be working in a known shop located here in Pomona. I love the journey and moments barbering has given me, I always have something to work on and chase after.

First Day of School

It was nothing too crazy, so I went to Garey. I went there during my freshmen year. I was a football player in varsity. however my sophomore year I had gotten into an altercation with some kid. We ended up getting down at school. After that, I was transferred to Diamond Ranch because of the fight. My first day here was alright. It was pretty chill because of the view. Besides that the service sucks that's why I kinda wanna go back to Garey I have way more homies over there, than here.

Cruise - August

I went on a cruise in August. The cruise was from LA to Mexico. It was pretty cool at first I was a little seasick but then I got used to it. However, they had a good rotation of food at the buffet. They had fun activities such as Golf, basketball, a parkour maze and many other activities. I enjoyed the view when I was on the cruise the sunset was cool. They even had a McDonald's on the ship and I think that was one of my favorite parts because it was open 24/7. Also the weather was perfect during the trip, with clear skies and calm seas most of the time. I spent a lot of my days by the pool and soaking in the sun. The staff on board were friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. One night, there was a themed dinner party with a live band, which was a fun experience. Overall, the cruise was an unforgettable adventure, and I'd love to go on another one in the future.
