Students will already be using the internet when they are applying for accommodation, and the quiz will be short so the amount of extra time on the internet will be little. The group chats formed between students may encourage students to be on their phones more, which could increase their environmental impact as their devices need charging. As students get to know each other more, they may start meeting up and talking less on their phones, reducing the environmental impact caused by the group chats.
