Children everyday walk miles and miles just to get the water they need to survive in their everyday life. Most of the time it's girls or young women that walk that far back and forward everyday of their life just to get water that's not even clean, they have to put chlorine tablets in their water just to make it cleaner for them to drink. So in my opinion I think that we should create closer water filling up areas so girls and young women don't have to tire themselves

people in rich countries could send in professionals that are good at treating and professional medical help with water this could save millions of lives and maybe permanently solve areas in crisis. we can also put in desalination plants next to villages that are close to the ocean.

We could send maybe a bit more money, for charity. The kids in countries that are in water distress right, could get a clean toilet and more life straws to stop diarrhoea and stop deaths from occurring.

We should have a fundraiser to make a damn in these countries. With these damns we will need to have water pipes running trough the towns. then these people should be able to turn on the tapes on and have clean water. the found raiser could be an a blue day all around QLD schools. so students should pay a gold coin donation and wear blue for the colour of water.

In Australia we are extremely lucky to have access to clean drinking water but some countries aren't as fortunate. Australia is definitely wealthy enough to buy thousands of shipping container boats to help transport water from Australia to countries in need. we could do this by filling boats with special containers filled with water and donate them to the governments of those countries.

we should have a country swap where a few people in third world countries swap places with people in countries that are considered wealthy in order to create an understanding of how it would be like in a third world country and spread awareness in the process. but the money to fund the these trips will come from wealthy countries and organisations that support the idea of understanding those in third world countries and helping spread awareness. and in the end hopefully after those from other wealthy countries who have experienced what its like will donate after they have experienced the struggle.

We could make one or more national days where people donate gold coins so we could help fund these creative ideas that people have.

Some ideas are, like my co-worker Abe mentioned that we could donate Life straws to these third-world countries to help them filter and drink water so they don't get sick.

make a soft wrap which when you cook it, it turns into a hard shell so you can have hard shell burritos and with the money make artificial clouds and plant trees witch will grow and help the water cycle to make it rain more

To help with making water clean in other countries, we need to raise funds. We need to have charities, events, campaigns and other ways to raise money for people who aren't as fortunate as us with the cleanliness of water. We can also create more "Life Straws" to distribute to other counties.http://www.gizmag.com/go/4418/

We've brain stormed a few ideas, but this was our main one! A national fun raising day, were you or someone you know participates in a challenge, the challenge consists of the person going for 24 hours without Water, the person doing it has to acquire sponsors, those sponsors will donate a certain amount of money to the participant. The money earned will either go to the government or to someone collecting the money, then the government will pay contractors to go to those countries and build sewerage systems or even Water cleaning plants (e.g Desalination plants).

we could use the waste water from every country and transport the water to water crisis countries and build dams there and also build a desalination plants so the water can be drinkable. We could have people transport the drinkable water to the villages therefore making the children and women not walk a mile or more to get water and have them at school instead. This also provides people with jobs to get money, therefore can provide wealth and can help the country be a better, healthier and safer country
