With some students, transitioning to virtual isn't a big issue, but for others with no access to the internet, going virtual is impossible. While the district offers wifi hotspots for those students, sometimes we have run out due to a limited supply.

This would not solve all of the problems but I feel as if it would help. The majority of parents will have access to smart phones and so this could be used as a resource to help them.
