We had to leave when I got home from school which was a bit hectic because me and my brother got home late which was around 4:30 and we were suppose to be home at 3:30. After I got home I put my bag into the truck and I still had too get a cooler ready to have snacks on the way to California. We ended up leaving at 6:00 or 7:00. We were on the road for at least 4 hours and got lost instead of taking a right turn we took a left. After we found our way back to the  right way. The GPS kept sending us around in circles so we kept passing the same road over and over.

On the way to California was all l fine we didn't get lost and we left on time. we Got lost finding our hotel but we ended up finding it. it was around 1 to 2:30 in the morning. My mom and Dad walk in to check us in while my grandma and my siblings waited in the truck. my mom comes back to the truck and tells us that the worker put the check in for tomorrow. which took a long time to get a room 


My story goes with my theme because you have to understand when someone messes up like when they messed up the time to get the hotel
