After some great roles, he was charged with drug abuse, fired from the shows and movies and had to go through a court-ordered drug treatment program. He maintained his sobriety since 2003. He was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2008 and was also listed by Forbes as Hollywood’s highest-paid actor from 2013 to 2015. 

Later in life, RDJ gained global recognition for starring as Tony Stark in many movies within Marvel Cinematic University and as Sherlock Holmes in two movies by Guy Ritchie. He has been happily married to Susan Downey since 2003. He has been drug-free since 2003 as well. He is now working on the third movie about Sherlock Holmes. 

After graduating from college, John traveled to Columbus, Ohio, where he spent five months at the National Children's Hospital as a student chaplain. At this time, Green entered the Chicago Divinity School and wanted to become an Episcopal priest, but later changed his decision. John later moved to Chicago, where he took a job as a publisher's assistant and production editor at the Booklist bookstore. From Chicago, John moved to New York, where he lived for two years. During this time, John managed to write his first novel, «Looking for Alaska». In 2006, John released his second novel, «An Abundance Of Katherines», and two years later, his third, «Paper Towns». In 2015, the novel «Paper Cities» was filmed.

At the moment, John Green with his wife Sarah and children live in Indianapolis. They have a son, his name is Henry, and a daughter, her name is Alice. 5 years have passed since the release of Green's latest bestseller, The Fault in Our Stars. In October 2017, fans of the work of the American writer waited for a new novel called «Turtles All the Way Down». 

He was brought up in the neighbourhood of Wynnefield, along with younger siblings Harry and Ellen, as well as an older sister Pamela.The young child had a Baptist upbringing at home, but received his elementary education from a Catholic institution named 'Our Lady of Lourdes'. After his parents parted ways, he was educated at the 'Overbrook High School' in Philadelphia.

On completing high school, Will decided to pursue music as a career, instead of attending college.
