The first one is the clear difference between Jefferson and Hamilton; they had different views on politics, economics, and overall on how to run a country. Hamilton is an immigrant who arrived in the USA to improve his life, whereas Jefferson left the USA to gain insight.


This stark contrast is also made as a way to devolve the idea of the founding fathers as one single entity. Since the show puts two founding fathers clashing with each other, it is easy to get the message that they had discrepancies, and did not agree with each other all the time, just as it should be in a healthy democratic republic.
