Children are known to be the joy in a relationship, but simple arguments may occur when dealing with common issues such as picking up the children, doctor appointments, shows, shopping for clothes or school supplies. Many men might believe that this is a "women's job" but in reality with our generation today, it shows that majority of relationships are not sexist to one another because of the lifestyle they have been living.

Emotional needs are always the communication starter that leads to fights because one person may not feel as if their partner is listening to them. Such as demonstrated in the video that we saw on the PowerPoint, it showed that the lady with the nail in her head wanted to express her feelings to her husband but he was not paying attention. Many people that feel as if they are being ignored by their partner will start arguments very easily and will start to push their partner away.

"Giving the person some space"
This is a very hard thing to do because the partner may think they are not good enough for their relationship since their partner does not want to be around them. This is important for a relationship to function, it is necessarily to have some "Me time' every once in a while to relax.

This is the simplest thing to do but yet it is discussed through different levels of discussions. Trust and Fidelity are very common in relationships that do not have a great communication with one another, this should be establish at the beginning of every relationship to gain a sense of closure.
The reason I believe this is the toughest communication starter is because couples never learned to be honest and real with each other to begin with.

This conflict can arise because men and women have different sex drives. Men tend to have a much larger sex drive than women which is completely normal. Men tend to like having sex and not worry about anything else that is extremely important, however, a women will refuse to have sex if she has something very important the next day.
For example, if she has a doctors appointment or even a work related meeting this can cause her to lose focus on sexual intercourse and focus on preparation.

Money is the top issue when relationships are having a disagreement, problems about how to pay bills, managing money, and how/ where to spend the money they have in the bank and/or savings. This can also cause relationships to stumble on this water when barely getting into a relationship, this reason being one will always be more wealthier then their partner and the partner might pick fights about not knowing how to may feel to be struggling.
A perfect example that comes to mind is from the show Grey's Anatomy, Jackson and Maggie, he is extremely rich and never had to worry about money but Maggie on the other hand had to work extremely hard to get to where she is at now.

This is an important discussion to have with your partner at the beginning of your relationship when you are living together. It is best to sit down and lay out how you guys both like the house task to be evenly split or how one person likes to keep things in a specific order. This will help many keep thinks semi-organized before a fight occurs, but in understanding that it will take time to get use to a new living situation.

There are 3 basic conversation/ schedules to have with a partner:

Management

Schedules

Standards

Once these have all been set it will help prevent further disagreements to common household areas.

In this video, it talks about chore wars being the leading cause of divorce.

Healthy relationships and families are important to maintain because there is nothing greater then a loving family. This all very true but deep down inside a loving family we also will have a family that struggle within their relationships. The reason why we should care about a healthy relationship and helping a toxic relationship become healthy again is because it will make the work a better place knowing that their is people out their caring about the way other people feel. For example, I believe that if people have a healthy relationship they will have than pass it onto their children. This will begin to help people start caring for others and stop being violent. There is a few local resources for this such as seeing an Marriage and family therapist.
