A blood clot can develop either in the brain or somewhere else in the body and can travel to the brain. Lack of blood oxygen to the brain can provoke an ischemic stroke. About 87% of brain strokes are ischemic. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>People with medical conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol. People from age 55+. Blacks and Hispanics have a higher chance of getting a stroke. Peoples lifestyle, anyone who is smoking, not being active, poor diet, someone who suffers from obesity. Genetics also play a part if there is family history of stroke or heart disease. While men experience strokes, women are more likely to die from them. The primary causes of a stroke is blockage of blood flow to the brain or ruptured blood vessel.   </p>]]></description>
