Having individual personalised plans is great, but for busy teachers having a selection of tools set up in advance for students who might need intervention would be a godsend.

The real life scenario and plan you showed was really interesting and useful - more of these and ideas from you about practical strategies to support students would be great. Talking to colleagues is good, but getting ideas from those who are doing this daily, ie you both, would really help my classroom practice - maybe even a list of possible things to try 'in the moment' to refer to when times get tough?

It would be great to have a range of student examples with tools and techniques we could use and refer to, in an online document or booklet. The explanation of the window of tolerance was excellent. It would also be really useful if particular neuro-diverse students had a personalised document (like the one you displayed on Tamaiti), containing what to look out for, tools and approaches that work etc. found in one place (eg: a Google Folder) that all staff could access.

Thank you for your presentation today. When some students struggle they quietly 'give up' - they can fly under the radar but you know they have promise and can do it with time. Some ideas on ways to help these students would be appreciated OR how they can help themselves too.

It gets tricky when you have multiple students with these issues who can also set each other off. We would need to make accommodations for the whole class. Be great to have more ideas to do this as a class.

Strategies that can be implemented in high school that do not make them look babyish. Suggestions of tools that can be in all their classrooms.

Thank you for your time last Friday. You did a good job of illustrating how to manage a neurodiverse class, sorry staffroom!

I found the input and session welcomed in that we interacted with colleagues from other faculties. We also spoke of solutions and strategies rather than venting how hard things can be.

For the next session, as others have said, some strategies that may work and then giving us time to work through how to implement it into our specific classes/for specific students.

Continue to highlight the necessity of building connections with all our students, being mindful that they are all different, in order to create that space where learning can happen rather than mere classroom management.
