After that, I took film making for the second semester. I took intro to engineering during my first semester of sophomore year. This was a class that piqued my interest and made me want to take industrial design in the future. Since then I have not taken any other art classes and have completed industrial 1 - 3. When I was little I used to take drawing classes at the Katonah art center. This was when I first became interested in art. 3D intrigues me because it combines art with a building aspect that has become my favorite part of industrial design. In the intro to engineering class, we built a model house and this led to me being interested in continuing to focus on architecture. Art is very important to me because it is unlike any other class. We have full control over our projects, and we have much more freedom with our work. We can create whatever we can imagine without having to follow a strict set of rules.
