We put the sound together and we all think it came out very well. We also made an alternative version with a funny clip at the end. Also, Ben, Curtis and Joe created new sound effects for a short clip for Peppa Pig, which went well and had a funny end product. After this was done we showed our finished product to the class. After that, Dave went over how to create a cartoon background on photoshop for our eBooks we are going to create over the next 9 weeks. Below is the image I created for our cartoon.

We started off the day by creating songs in GarageBand for our cartoon, then after break we showed what we have come up with to the class. Mine was simply a loop of two sounds which I thought had a relation to a space/futuristic themed show. I feel I need more practise with creating songs, as it was quite bland and boring. After that, we began drawing some character examples that we could use for our cartoon. At first I tried to draw Phineas and Ferb, but then I figured out it was too hard to draw all perspectives from somewhere else, so I created my own character, and managed to create a perspective of all the angles. After that, we imported our drawings into photoshop, and added textures to the inside of our characters, to give them more colour and excitement. After break we had to do another similar thing with going through our strengths and weaknesses on our performance, and then creating opportunities and threats for this project on the eBook. After lunch, we started an essay we have to complete with a minimum of 600 words, maximum of 1000, about the project coming up, and just simply stating what we will do, and how its done, in general terms. We ;earn how to use keyframes in our video to make our characters move, and to create the animation of him walking with using two desperate images of the same object, but are used like alternating pictures to seem like the object is walking or doing an action. Then on Photoshop we learnt how to create a character from different shapes for our animation, and once we done that, we went into After Effects and used the puppet tool to make our character seem like he is moving more organically, which looked better than on Final Cut, but is more complex. Overall today was very useful for our project as I learnt more about animation and creating our characters. First of all we went down to the library, and I managed to ask 4 people for 10 questions that I created. That took us until lunch, and after lunch, I created a primary research summary, where I gathered all my findings, and created a conclusion on what I have discovered. I feel today went well as I got all the information I need, and it has helped me to shape the story I will create for my eBook. This took us until break, where we began recording some voice overs for a scene out of Toy Story 3. After lunch, I out the audio together with the video, and I think it turned out quite well, as I added music from the Toy Story 3 trilogy, so it looked like a real scene. However, when I recorded the voice for Woody, I feel I could have recorded with more space between me and the tascam, and my audio levels were a lot louder than everyones else's. Also, I could have watched the video in more detail, and produced my voice over more accurately to how the voice acting is done in the film. We started off the day finding out who is in our groups and going over what tasks we need to complete before we begin production on our videos. I have been paired with Sophie, and we discussed our ideas and we coincidentally have the same general idea, which is really good. So after lunch we started brainstorming on ideas for our video, and we have came up with the title "Gordan the Big Fluffy Super Rabbit" and its based off of a rabbit who is different, and goes on a voyage to accept his differences from other animals. I'm happy with my team because I feel we are on the same page and will work together effectively. My team mate Sophie had to go at mid-day, so I came up with some more ideas for our video, and created a title for the eBook which i think will work really well. I started off by tracing the pencil drawing I done with a black ink pen, then I took and picture and illustrated it in Adobe Illustrator. This task took me all day to complete, but I finished before the end of the day, and I'm ready to design the next scene.
