Why I chose to use a Pie Chart: It is easier to compare and see each quantity as a part of the whole.

Although bar graph is easier to see how many people discard the amount of food, a pie chart is used to compare size, to gauge how many students discard what type of food. It is also easier to make the pie chart for this topic.

I chose a bar graph because this category is not over a period of time, so we don't need to use a bar graph. I used a bar graph because I think that it would be easier to see the differences and compare the different categories easily. E.g. the category the most/least students chose./

Pie Chart looks more appealing as it is vibrant colours, and the size varies with the number of people who chose each option. Line graphs would be harder to look at each option but a pie chart would be easier to compare each option too.
