The fact that after all this time, Japan and the U.S. still have the maturity to put things behind them. I really appreciate that they are really close allies and that they still don't hold that major grudge that has devastated many Americans and victims of the attack.  I also found intriguing was how the Japanese attacked because of the conflicts and expansion in Asia, where the U.S. merely saw it as an attack to start a war. Japanese just simply wanted a colonial push to get out of the woes that the Great Depression caused. It is really heartwarming that the Prime Minister came to the U.S. to speak on behalf of the lives that were lost on that day and to "comfort the souls of the victims."
