         <title>Reading in classrooms features class sets of picture books and novels. Reading for pleasure is the main focus in the primary library with lots of reading aloud to classes, book tastings, sharing books by students. We have a great reading culture with lots of avid readers across all primary year levels. Unfortunately this drops off when our students progress to our secondary campus and this is an area of concern.</title>

         <title>Our year 11 and 12s read for pleasure the least. Our English department do 10 mins silent reading at the start of lessons likewise history do historical fiction silent reading 10 mins this is helping to change reading culture. We have some dedicated readers and many reluctant readers. </title>

         <title>Kilvington Grammar - we are lucky to have our English year 7 - 10 classes come to the library reading lounge for one hour per fortnight for free reading time with their English teacher. Our kindergarten and primary classes come for a story, reading and borrowing once a week for 30 minutes. Students can come and free read before school, recess, lunch and after school daily.</title>
