Reading for pleasure is the main focus in the primary library with lots of reading aloud to classes, book tastings, sharing books by students. We have a great reading culture with lots of avid readers across all primary year levels. Our English department do 10 mins silent reading at the start of lessons likewise history do historical fiction silent reading 10 mins this is helping to change reading culture. Our kindergarten and primary classes come for a story, reading and borrowing once a week for 30 minutes.
