1. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
2. The First Amendment grants the freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of assembly and the right to protest.
3. The first amendment changed our laws so that we can share their opinions and their voice without fear of the government.
4. Two men are planning on robbing a bank but one man stayed behind because he did not feel like it was a good idea. The one that stayed behind was accused of the robbery along side the other man but since he had his rights he was protected by the first amendment because he had his freedoms of speech and protest.
5. I rate this Amendment a 8

There has been several reports of stolen goods concerning the people of North Suburn Road and they have been threatening with guns and other harmful devices. These robbers were making there rounds and got to this woman's house. She was not excepting his threats and he shot at her. This lady shot back because she was protecting herself and she had the right to do so.
5. I rate this Amendment a 5

"No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law."
2. The Third Amendment states that no soldier can take over a home during war or peace, without the home owners permission.
3. The Third Amendment protects citizens homes from being forced to let soldiers stay in their homes without permission.
4. There is war going on between North and South side of Missouri. The North wants to practice any religion they want and the South wants to practice bud-ism. Northern Missouri sent several of their soldiers over to the Southern part of Missouri to invade the homes of the people but since the Third Amendment protects those rights they did not allow the soldiers to invade.
5. "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."
2. No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury.
3. The Fifth Amendment gives citizens the opportunity to stand up for ourselves if we have already been tried and found innocent once before unless there is new evidence found.
4.A woman was accused of possessing stolen goods but she hid the items where they would not be found so since there was no evidence of stolen property she was found innocent. But a few months later there was evidence found so the police wanted to take her to court and she could not refuse because there was new evidence found.
5. The Sixth Amendment provides a speedy and public trail by jury for all who are accused for crime.
3. The Sixth amendment gives citizens the right to have a speedy trial because if you get in trouble but it really wasn't that big of a deal then there is no reason for you to stay in jail longer than they have to.
4. A man is arrested for armed robbery but did not harm anyone. He spent 6 months in jail waiting for his trail.
5. I rate this Amendment a 7
