They were easy to build, Tepees are like tents. Tepees were made out of wood poles and buffalo skin. Some Apache stayed in some place longer than others, so they lived in Wigwams. Wigwams are made because they are supposed to stay for a long time. Wigwams are made of wood frames, and then covered in grass. Wigwams are mostly made by the women, because men are supposed to work.

About one-third of the homes are overcrowded.

The native Americans housing reservations are supported by the department of housing, urban development, administered and increased by the tribes.

The Native families face a lot consequences because a lot of people had to adjust in just one house. Without the local jobs, to make improvements to housing was very hard for the families and especially the elderly.

Since the Native Americans didn't have resources a lot of years ago, they had no hope for shelter and survival. But as their brains started developing, they started planning on making houses for their tribe and their families with the materials that they could gather by themselves.

Note that, in today times very less people might get the idea to build a old house like the Native Americans did. Now people have more resources than they did hundreds of years ago.

About a week ago, there was a news passing around of Native families live in some of the worst housing in the country. According to the most recent estimates, they are two-and-a-half times more likely to live in an overcrowded home than the general population, seven-times more likely to lack telephone service, 10 times more likely to live without adequate plumbing and 11 times more likely to lack kitchen facilities to make food.

In some areas, up to 50 percent of Native homes are without phone service. Additionally, 23 percent of Native households pay 30 percent or more of household income for housing.

Housing is the main part of live. If people don't have shelter to live they don't have good hygiene and won't be able to keep themselves warm. But, even when the Native Americans had housing, it was tough for them due to 40% of people living in one small house. There is no space to even sleep or eat. The elderly and the children had to face the most problems due to housing. My opinion on this topic would be that these people had the hardest times of their lives coming up with ideas and building new houses with limited resources. While, as today people just stay in build houses with good resources like steel and bricks.
