-Teacher instructions-

• The teacher will hide a variety of different objects in the room of different colors

• The teacher is only aloud to give small clues and describe the objects

• timer will be set for 10 minutes

• the student with the most objects wins and gets a prize

  - Student instructions -

  The student will go around the class room looking for objects while the teacher is giving clues and using those clues to attempt to find the different items, once every item is found everything will be given to the teacher and teacher will start asking what color are the objects

  (ex. What color is this ball? What color is this toy? )

teacher will give students different colored number cubes and will ask the student easy math questions , she will demonstrate how to find the answer using the blocks and will also play a math game along with the students

student instructions-

Students will count the amount of blocks there is and when the teacher gives an amount the student will take off or add the amount of blocks the teacher said

Teacher will give the student different paint colors and some clay , the teacher will make sure everyone gets an equal amount of clay and some pain brushes and will also get water cups

student instructions-

student will first make something out of the clay and let it harden once it is dry the student will be able to draw anything they want to draw or will paint it however , they will learn here how to make something from scratch and will be able to take it home

- Teacher instructions-

• The teacher will place play-doh at each table of different colors

• this will be around snack time so students will also get different colored fruit loops and will be given a string and they will make a little bracelet or necklaces

-Student instructions -

With the play-doh students will mix them and learn about color theory and will make new colors . With the fruit loops they will make a bracelet or necklace of their choice

2. Play games where students identify and sort objects by color.

3. Teach about traffic lights and what each color meansred for stop, green for go, yellow for slow down).

4. Have a color scavenger where students find objects of different colors around the classroom or school.

5. Discuss how different cultures may associate certain colors with different meanings or emotions.
