China has the worst air pollution because of their factories. Since china burns 47% of the world’s coal, they (or more specifically Beijing) have gone over the 300 threshold meaning that the air is unsafe to breath.
Children cannot play outside because of the toxic air There are even places called cancer villages that are named that because if you live there, you are at a risk of receiving cancer including liver, kidney and stomach cancer.

China's biodiversity is facing a critical issue situation where 15 - 20% of the plants in china is threatening to extinction including the 40,000 species related to them! China is also facing deforestation and loss of habitat like bamboo in witch is needed for the pandas to survive. Instead they are struggling. The elephant population is also decreasing because of human use for ivory.

The water pollution in china has increased immensely. More than half of china’s surface water in undrinkable because of the risk of getting cancer, and one-fourth of that water cannot even be used for industrial purposes. There was an incident with chemicals leaking into the Huangpu River that caused thousands of pigs to float dead past Shanghai. As if that wasn’t enough, more than 20 people were hospitalized.
