6 Weeks Celebration: Students with fewer than 3 absences, low tardies, passing all classes, and no referrals. Reward: Pizza, drinks, and movie for 1 block. Teachers not rewarding students continue with regular classes. No holding room!

Have individual meetings with each individual student and parent and discuss the importance of the TELPAS test. Go over their scores from last year and explain what TELPAS is and that they need to try their best on the SUMMIT K12 activities in the classroom and give their best effort on all of the tests.

Afte RLA test is done, teachers can help out the rest of the subjects that still need to test. Once each test is done, we can help with activities to assist the high approaches students. It needs to be team effort with open communication across grade level.

Promote Saturday tutoring. Our attendance was lackluster to say the least. Give out goodies, provide extra credit, etc. if they attend. Parents need to know that is an option.
