After the 14th and 15th amendment were passed, she was annoyed that legislation did not include the right for women to vote. Stanton and Anthony formed the National Women Suffrage Association, to push for a constitutional amendment that gave women the right to vote.  In 1872, she was arrested because she was trying to vote. By 1920, the 19th amendment was passed and it gave  women the right to vote.

Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton were upset that women still lacked this right. So they created the National Women Suffrage movement to push for a constitutional amendment that supports women's right to vote. they opposed the 15th amendment because they also believed that women deserve the right to vote. Therefore, they created this group and broke away from the American Women Suffrage Association that supported the 15th amendment for what it was.

She was told she was never going to be able to fly because she was a woman. Even with all the doubts and obstacles Earhart faced, she became the first female pilot.

This is significant because back in 1777 women got their right to vote taken away. Now they can vote and participate in Congress. They can represent women effectively which was the struggle many faced since the beginning of time.
