Classes will be held outdoors on the all - weather pitch if weather allows, with the indoor hall being used as an alternative. The learning outcomes of the class will be shared at the beginning of the lesson, as well as reviewing previous lessons. The purpose of Sports Education is to help shape literate sports people capable of performing a variety of roles both on and off the pitch. Each time a new role is introduced, it will be explained to the class at the beginning of the lesson. During each lesson, students elected as coaches will be asked to come up with an activity or game that will help their team improve the skill being worked on in each lesson. From Week 3 on, students will be split into their teams that they will remain in for the rest of the model. Points will be awarded each week based off effort, performance, how well you perform in your role etc.
