My family and I went camping until it started raining and hailing really bad. When it was storming the thunder was so loud it shook the car, the lighting was blinding us and the hail was like rocks hitting you multiple times. We had to hurry and get the tent in the car as fast as we could and get down the mountain.

I was riding horses with my dad a few weeks ago and a lightning storm started a few miles away. The lightning was so cool. The storm moved very quick and we had to hurry and unsaddle the horses and get inside so we didn't get struck.

Me and my sisters where gathering cows when a big storm came in and we got rained on and then the thunder started and we had to go back to the house on our horses.

A few years ago it was around midnight and it stared raining really hard and it woke me and my family up. Then it stared to hail really bad, it damaged our house, our windows, and our cars. The power went out too and it got so hot in the house. the storm lasted for about two hours and we all had work and school the next day.

Last winter, I was chilling in my room until i opened the window and it was more cold than usual. I went to go look out the front door window and saw about 2 feet of snow. It was freezing cold outside, I had to wear 6 layers of clothes that day. It was like this for 2 days.

One time we were swimming at my nana's house when at first the wind picked up and the the clouds rolled in and it went from spinkiling to a huge rain storm and wind so high it blew everything away along with lighting!

I went camping with my family on a very high mountain and on that one camping trip we had sunshine, rain, hail, wind and then snow! My parents said the joy of living in Colorado you just never know what kind of weather you will get.

We were in a pasture that has a really steep hill. The kind of hill, you can't get up when it rains. It started to rain and we had to make tracks up the hill before we got stuck. Mother Nature gave us a scare that day.

a few years ago me and my sister woke up at 2:00 a.m because the rain was so loud we woke up our grandpa but when we went in his room he was siting on the bed reading and we said did you hear the rain and he said yes because the thunder woke him up at 1:00 a.m and he had work and we had swiming lessons too. and we were very tierd in the morning

We live in a motorhome and one morning we had a thunderstorm and windstorm so bad that it took down a ton of trees. We had a large branch hit our side of the motorhome. It was very scary.

My dad and I went duck hunting for the first time last year. We got a duck on the 2nd time

we went hunting. We went to the river and

hunted and there was ice on the river that was cracking and floating down the river.

We could hear the river it was relaxing and it made me feel calm. My dad would not let us cook it!!!!!!

Over the summer, there was a bad hailstorm. We were inside but we watched it. It was hailing, windy, lightning, and thundering so hard that it broke my parents' car windows, my neighbor's tree broke in half, and it actually flooded so bad where we couldn't see the road and the sidewalks. My dad was at work, I was so scared.

A few weeks ago there was a storm and it was around 9:00pm and it was bad one there was heavy rain, hail, and lighting and there was a blackout and we were drying our sheets but the dryer cut out so we had to hand dry them but that took too long so we had to get some wool and put it on top of our sheets so the wool would soak up the water and it worked but a tree fell on my grandparents house.

I have experienced multiple bad storms including a thunderstorm at Lake Powell where the wind was making the waves so crazy that we had to jump off the boat and swim to the house boat that was anchored to the shore. My dad stayed on the small boat trying to keep it from sinking.

I have also been through a bad wind storm where we had a blackout and our gate was ripped off the hinges.

Also, I have been through a couple of hailstorms.

One time I heard the sirens go off in my town, but my dad did not see a tornado.I

have also had to go downstairs and get in a closet with my brother including my toys to take cover during a tornado warning.
