Why was it my second choice? Because California has a lot of people who consider Spanish as their first language. In other words, it would be an easy way to communicate. I want to go into business and marketing, this might come in handy while interacting with clients. I had a trimester intro class for Spanish (it was mostly focused on culture), it was fun learning about other people and cultures. I love to travel and it would be nice to understand what the locals are saying in Spanish speaking places.
