EXPERT BADGES

Create ":Expert Badges" on labels. Once students prove their mastery - formative assessment, actual assessment, etc. - then they get an EB and it also states "Ask me what I know about " to encourage continued discussion, collaboration, and praise from their " cheering team"

ive points to students who attend school during first period. Write down students who are not in class (they receive no points for that day). Have a store house of goodies (like soccer balls, funny pens, stationary, gift certificates etc.) with a number of points labeled on them for students to buy. Example: 179 points for a soccer ball (that's 179 days of attending school)
