A unique aspect about my family is that my younger sister, youngest brother and I are all adopted. My sister and I are both adopted from China and my brother is adopted from out hometown. My other brother (red hair) is biological to my parents and he and I are super close in age with a thirteen month age gap. There also is a twelve year age gap between my youngest brother and I. It has been fun to move between the roles of sister and mom with him and watch him grow into an amazing kid! I even themed by 21st birthday party "God Blessed Texas and Jade's 21st!" I have come to love the beautiful weather that Arkansas has and will never forget the first fall I experienced here in Fayetteville with the leaves changing, but in my soul I have always been a Texas girl! I am from a suburb of Houston and because of all the expats that move to Houston for the oil and gas industry we are a city filled with extensive culture and people! I love being in the classroom with kids who have lived all over the world and learning about so many different cultures and places. What takes the cake about home is the food.
