In my opinion, there are 3 typical characteristics of the Vietnamese people. 

First, it’s saving money. They usually save money from their young age and until their old age. Nowadays, in the city, this view seems to change but those in countryside still share this point. 

The second outstanding feature is they live modestly and always work hard. In the past, they live mainly on farming, they wake up early in the morning and work all long day on the farm till the end of afternoon. They also don’t demand too much for their life, which you can be seen when seeing their houses and their customs. Until these modern days, they still have this habit. 

Besides, Vietnamese are actually friendly and hospitable people. Their hospitality is shown clearly in the way they greet and treat their friends and visitors. Either pre-arranged or unexpected, you always can receive a warm welcome by Vietnamese people because this is a part of their traditional culture. 

Despite going through many ups and downs, basically, Vietnamese have still kept traditional values in their lifestyle reflected in the relationship of family and friends. 

People in each country have their own characteristics, Vietnamese people also have things, they also have many different characteristics from other countries. I am also a native of Vietnam, so I know many characteristics of Vietnamese people. 

Firstly, Vietnamese is very diligent in works but we are easily satisfied, this leads to the serious psychological of enjoyment. Secondly, intelligent, creative, but not patient, lack of thinking in a long-term range, not be actively. Ingenious, but not maintain the effort until the end. Thirdly, eager to learn, able to acquire quickly, but rarely learn fully the content, so knowledge is not in the order of the system, losing of basic. In addition, the study is not in their own goal of every Vietnamese Liberal and hospitable but not lasting. Moreover, expenditure savings, but sometime squandering because of vain goals. Vietnamese has a spirit of solidarity and mutual love, but almost those are only right in circumstances of difficulty and poverty. Also in the better and richer living conditions, this virtue appears rarely. And last, loving peace, patient, but sometimes we have the aggression and the aggressive because of narcissism and errands reasons. 

Beside, there are some different side. First, habits of not punctual. Overall, timing awareness of Vietnamese is very bad. Many of Vietnamese go to abroad for studying in the developed countries is very crestfallen at the beginning. They are vulnerable to miss the train, break a promise with someone but they gradually overcome. Until they come back Vietnam, they are uncomfortable with the habits of not punctual.Second, lack of self-confidence and critical thinking. This is also the weakness of the East culture which has a closed lifestyle. Type of passive education is always proportional to the inertia of thinking and inversely proportional to the critical thinking of youth. Third, do not saving or psychological of the spendthrift. This is”a kind of virus” very common and contagious among youth. They are particularly interested in advertising, watching all kinds of clothing labels; review and evaluate others by assets; envy and admire if someone has a lot of clothes, cars, phones, houses … We are currently spending money more than we earn. In addition, unrealistic thinking, Mr. Kim Woo Choong – President of Daewoo says:’’Youth do not have dreams do not have to be youth … history belongs to those who know to dream.’’ But that’s totally dreams can become true. At last,we often think unrealistic, lack of thinking: studying to work. Superstitions still play an important part of life for many people in Viet Nam. For example, a lot of people choose a favourable date for occasions such as weddings, funerals, or house moving days. Some people may argue that being superstitious has no place in today's society. However, superstitions have existed in all human societies throughout history. As a country situated in Asia, where many mysteries, and legends originate, Viet Nam has also kept various superstitious beliefs about daily activities. 

Vietnamese people have a good and good face, but Vietnamese people and country are still recognized by the world as a civilized country.

The ancient people thought that everything has a soul, so people worship many gods, originally they worship sun god, moon god, earth god, river god, sea god, thunder god, rain god, .. .the gods associated with the practical dreams of the agricultural people's life. Like the Vietnamese, the Chinese worship the gods of Quan Cong and Than Tai. The Cham people worship gods like Po Nagar, Po Rome, ...

Ancestor worship and commemoration of death anniversaries are a long-standing custom of the Vietnamese and some other ethnic groups. They believe that the ancestors' spirits are by the side of their descendants and bless them. Because of this, every family has an altar of ancestors and the altar is placed in the most solemn place in the house. In

Vietnam is an ethnically diverse country, so there are differences in lifestyles and personalities. However, it is believed that there are some characteristic traits of Vietnamese people. Now I will talk about some Vietnamese's typical characteristic. 

Firstly, Vietnamese always try saving much money when they are young. Perhaps it is often said that young people should enjoy while they can, but vietnamese think we should save money to have enough for our youth passion. Nowadays the world changes too much. However, almost Vietnamese people still try saving money. 

Because of thinking of saving money, Vietnamese is very hard-working and creative at work. This helps Vietnam to have many achievements domestically and internationally. For example, Pham Nhat Vuong, the chairman of Vingroup, has tried very hard to form a large corporation, helping to leave the reputation of Vietnam in the world. 

Finally, Vietnamese people are actually friendly and hospitable. We always welcome and introduce the beauty of beautiful scenes and Vietnamese cuisine to foreign visitors. Most of the foreign tourists visiting Vietnam leave positive reviews and  especially like the hospitality of the Vietnamese. 

In short, in spite of  the changes, Vietnamese people still retain their own traditions and personalities.

            VietNam is the beautiful country with a lot of famous location such as Ha Long Bay, Nha Nhac Cung Dinh Hue, … and delious food. The best of VietNam is the characteristics of people in there.    

            First of all, VietNamese people are very hard-working. The Vietnamese people, especially Vietnamese women, often start their day in an extremely early hour and finish it late. Imaging that if you wake up at 2 a.m when it is dark outside, you may still see the image of some street vendors who carry loads of bread wandering around the street to sell food for night owls. Besides, this good characteristic is frequently expressed in Vietnamese proverbs or saying, such as “Có công mài sắt có ngày nên kim” (Hard work pays off) or “Tay làm hàm nhai, tay quai miệng trễ” (No bees, no honey, no work, no money). 
             Second, VietNamese people are very friendly. They are very kind of timid, especially women since they are often taught to be cautious of strangers. That’s why Vietnamese people find it hard to start a conversation with someone right after meeting them. Another reason may be the lack of confidence in their language skills; which makes it difficult for them to break the ice with a foreigner.
              Finally, VietNamese people are family-oriented. Having strong family ties is another wonderful personality of Vietnamese people, which means they passionately devoted to their family. Each holiday or festival, such as New Year’s Eve or Mid-Autumn Festival, is a perfect time for family members to get together and be more close-knitted. Whenever they feel exhausted and tired, the best motivation to carry on is their sweet home where all family members always stand by their side no matter what happens. 

              To sum up, VietNamese people are the good people, they are very friendly with the foreign and always ready to help other people
