The fallow deer comes in three different colors, white, chocolate brown (like the image above) or light brown with white spots.
He will shed his antler seasonally after the mating season and regrow them like white-tailed deer do.

This male was found with three chocolate brown females following him. He has faded white spots on his body so their is the slight possibility of him producing spotted fallow babies from the females.

Description of Location: Crossing the road to go into the woods within the Fair Oaks Ranch neighborhood

Details: Adult, very large about the size of my hand, crossing the road to get into the woodline, very quick, very calm, couldn't tell the gender, i think it might be a male based off the second picture there appears to be a little hook on his front leg, also one of the front legs looked to have been previously injured and was now shorter than the other.

Notes: Largemouth bass roughly 4-6 lbs, I saw him quickly swim up from the deep middle water and was darting back and forth along the shore, I noticed there were two small carp that he trapped in the shallow water but was too nervous to go in the shallow area so was waiting for them to swim out, he waited but grew impatient and swam away.
