      <description>For more than 20 years, Dr. Neifi Acosta has worked as a middle school principal with the New York City Department of Education. In addition to developing curricula and assessment tools to improve student outcomes, he provides ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers across all subjects. Dr. Neifi Acosta has also successfully secured grants to fund new technology promoting digital learning and has improved arts programming, providing opportunities to all students . Furthermore, in an effort to providing a cultural balanced extracurricular activities students had the opportunity to attend hit Broadway shows with orchestra seats benefits. In addition, with the same effort , students had the opportunity to travel to several different countries, with the opportunity to spend time with students in a school setting. So far students visited each country for a period of seven days. They visited: Costa Rica, Italy, Brazil, Paris and Greece.

Dr. Acosta holds a bachelor of science in mechanical and electrical engineering from the State University of Santo Domingo and a master of science in math education and a masters of science in School Leadership and Supervision from City University of New York, where he graduated in just 18 months with a 3.7 GPA. His Ed.D in urban leadership from Fordham University focused on the accountability role among middle school assistant principals relating to students performance.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Acosta served as an assistant principal and math teacher and chair. Certified by the Council of Supervisors and Administrators Certificate for 20 years, he has received multiple performance bonuses from the Department of Education in recognition of his students’ progress and academic performance

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Over the years, education has evolved dramatically from the traditional method of teaching, where a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teacher"><strong>teacher</strong></a> explains a lesson while students memorize and recite their notes as the only way of passing their exams. While the traditional teaching method is still being used in many schools, other groups prefer more modern teaching methods or combining the two approaches to teach students. In contemporary education strategies, students are encouraged to study on their own and not to rely on what the teacher teaches in the classroom alone.</div>]]></description>
