My baby is five months old. How did this happen so quickly?? Benjamin Arnold is such a happy little boy. He’s always talking and can not stay still to save his life. He LOVES his feet and I’m pretty sure his greatest dream in life (so far) is to one day be able to suck on his toes with ease. His favorite song is a tie between the ‘ABC’s’ and ‘Happy Birthday’. He loves reading picture books, spending time with mommy and daddy, and getting tons of kisses. He is completely obsessed with his daddy. And I am completely obsessed with both of them. It’s Ben! I can’t believe it! My baby is practically a year and then he will be 18 and leaving me. Time is going by way too fast. But I do love all the time I spend with this little boy. He loves spending time listening to mommy read and playing with his toys. He is also a little Rollie pollie and can disappear across the room in about two seconds. And did I mention that he’s such a big boy!? This kiddo weighs 19 lbs 6 oz. Carrying him around all day is getting a bit difficult. But that’s okay! My baby was born on 7/7/17 and on 2/7 he is 7 months old. I’m thinking 7 is his lucky number. Anyways! My little love started solids this last month and is loving it. Not only does this new adventure taste good, it also makes a wonderful mess! This month Ben has discovered that he loves fake coughing and making fart noises with his mouth. He is such a happy little boy with such a sweet, mellow attitude. He’s also the biggest morning person I know. Every morning I am greeted by his smiling face. He makes waking up so warm and welcoming. Sergio and I love our little baby bug with all of our hearts. Benji Arnie can scoot, say “da da”, and sit up by himself for several minutes. This boy is the smartest person in the universe. And I’m not exaggerating. Every day he finds something new to discover and it is an honor to be by his side while he makes his discoveries. He is still the happiest little thing that ever existed. He has had a fever on and off for the last two days and is still all smiles (except at night when he won’t let mommy and daddy sleep). He is obsessed with his parents and we are obsessed with him. There is so much love in our house and it is all thanks to this little man. He is the light of our lives. It’s crazy how fast time moves. My little baby will be a year in two months. How crazy is that??? Benjamin now has 7 teeth. He is 23lbs and around 31/32 inches. He is such a happy person and is constantly on the move. He isn’t crawling yet, but is very close. And he can pull himself up into a standing position. He can say “dada”, “Dad”, “daddy”, “dat”, and “cat”. But no Mom. Ben is such a wonderful person and Sergio Compean and I are constantly in awe of how intelligent and incredible he is. It’s crazy to think he has only been here for such a short amount of time. To us, it feels like he’s been a part of us our entire lives. He is the most wonderful little person and he is so sweet, wild, and smart. He is also a pretty big mama’s boy, but I’m not complaining! He loves to crawl and explore. He can pull himself up on furniture and walk around holding on to the furniture. He knows how to use a light switch. He is a talking machine (mostly gibberish). He is the light and love of our lives and we are so blessed to be his parents. 1 month until he’s a year old!
