Bob is a high school student who doesn't have many friends. It only has one which is Dante. Dante is someone very sociable, and has many friends although Bob is his best friend. They have known each other since they were 7 years old and were always friends.

One day

Bob, like every morning, got up to go to school. He was calm since he thought it was going well, but at his school they opened at 6 am and closed at 7 am. He hadn't realized and it was 6:50 am. As soon as he realized it, he ran with a bread in his hand towards the bus stop. When he arrived he waited a while... the bus did not arrive. He started to worry and as soon as he finished his bread he ran to school. Apparently the bus had already passed for a while before Bob left, and in his neighborhood the bus usually takes a while to come, that's why he decided to run to school.

If Bob ran to school, it would take about 20 minutes, and knowing that Bob is not very athletic and gets tired quickly, it would take approximately 25 to 30 minutes. The problem is that they close at 7:10, meaning that Bob would not arrive (knowing that he started running at 6:54). Bob didn't have faith, but he just hoped that he would run into Dante (he was driving) maybe he was late. At that moment Bob was not looking because he was tired and looked up and down, he ended up colliding with a boy on a bike. When he got up he helped the boy get up and told himself to run again, but the boy stopped him. He had realized that they were going to the same school and the boy told him to get on the bike so they could both go together.

At least they were about 5 minutes late, but they arrived, at that moment they both ran to their classes and apparently they were both in the same year, just in different courses. When they were about to leave, Bob thanks the boy for helping him, there the other boy grabs him and asks Bob his name and Bob asks him the same question and he answers that his name is Tomas

Apparently Dante had been absent that day, that means Bob is going to be alone all day, (that's what he thought). He went to a corner and sat down to draw, and out of nowhere someone greeted him.

It was Tomas who came to accompany him since he saw him very alone and Tomas asked him why he was drawing. In short, they were talking all school day.

The beginning of the problem

The next day Dante came to school and met Bob and his new friend. When they started talking, Dante looked very angry and treated Tomas badly. Bob didn't understand the reason for this behavior so when he was alone with Dante he talked to him. Dante was just saying that he had had a bad day so that's why he was like this and after so much arguing Bob believed him.

As time went by, Tomas realized that Dante was very manipulative with Bob, he always made him do things that he did not want to do and asked for many favors and never gave anything in return. He also treated Tomas very badly, he always insulted him and they ended up fighting. Bob's mental fatigue became increasingly noticeable. He knew that Dante used him a lot, but he always fell into the same lie. Furthermore, he did not want to lose his friendship with his childhood friend. Bob looked worse and worse, many times he didn't go to school and he didn't give reasons why, he just said that he didn't feel like going, he got to the point of starting to draw less and if he did drew they were images without much meaning.

Tomas felt bad for Bob, he saw him getting worse and worse, he tried to talk to Dante but he told him that this was normal. Seeing that he was not improving, he decided to start solving this problem himself. Tomas invited Bob to his house to "play for a while" (obvious lie) and tried to keep Dante from finding out. The day arrived and Bob went to Tomas' house and they started playing on the computer and little by little Tomas began to get into the topic, but Bob always avoided him until he got tired and started telling him everything, everything he said about Dante Bob told him. He looked with surprise, but not the typical reaction of surprise, but a surprise of saying "how do you know that?" Bob knew how bad Dante was but he didn't want to accept it and Tomas spoke for approximately 30 minutes. At that point Bob didn't even know what face to make but he started to say that you won't drink even though he told him everything, Bob just wouldn't accept it. So Tomas just let him think about it when he was alone and that he would understand, and Tomas kicked him out of his house.

The next day Tomas did not go to class, so the next day when he arrived he saw how Dante did not even approach him, but he looked at him with hatred, at that moment Bob arrived and explained everything that happened to him.

After the talk, Bob arrived home and went to bed. He began to remember everything that Tomas said and reflected. He began to realize that he was very mentally ill, he felt very sad and alone. The next day he got up the courage and went to Dante to talk to him, they had a very long discussion, they even skipped a class to talk. Dante only said that he would never do that and that Tomas was lying to him. But Bob was no longer a fool [joke that can be better understood in Spanish (the joke is still very bad)]. and he send him to hell.

Curiosities of the future

Dante had his character development but not because of Bob and Tomas but because of a girl who liked him and left him after telling him what a bad person he is.

Bob in the future is transsexual (it made me want to make forced inclusion but I didn't know how to add it to the story so I left this as a fun fact)

Dante dies in a car accident in the future :( (sorry, I wanted to kill him, I don't know why)

Tomas loves femboys (Femboy is a term used to describe men who express themselves in stereotypically feminine behavior, which may include the use of women's jewelry, clothing, and makeup, as well as a greater display of emotional sensitivity and vulnerability)

Friendships don't last forever, it doesn't matter how long we know that person, what's really important is the attitudes. If you have a friendship like the one seen in the story (actually it is read but oh well) or you know someone who has that relationship, in the case of the first option do like Bob and in the case of the second do like Tomas. Don't suffer for wanting to maintain a friendship.
