In 2024, when I went on my Work and Travel, it changed my life 100%. I got to know new places, cultures, live far from my home and family for the first time, work in a completely new place and in another language. It changed my way of seeing life, getting out of the 'normality', living a reality different from my own, and I learned that I am capable of adapting to any situation. I learned to solve problems on my own and to trust my own abilities.

In 2020, when I was 18, my mother gave me a doggy. I was very happy because he was my friend, my son, my pet. He helped me a lot during a very difficult time like the pandemic. This changed my love for animals. Now I try to help street animals or homeless dogs.

When I was 13, my mom used to give me errands in the car and I used to drive very fast. Once, my mom told me to go to my grandmother to take something, I was driving very fast and in a curve I couldn't brake and I crashed the car, and this changed my life because now I drive with care.

In 2021 I was in Esmeraldas when I found a kitty near to my apartment. I decided to adopted him because he was really calm and loving. He was a really good company for me in the COVID but sadly he was really sick. So we both take care of each other. He really make me change my point of views about cats and help me to feel less lonely.

In 2021 I was a semi-profesional soccer player with a chance to play at the Ecuadorian U18 team, it was all great until I had a very severe ankle injury that prohibited me to play professional soccer, I was totally depressed but when I discovered a new sport (Beach volleyball) I saw an opportunity to compete again in a different sport and bring my joy back and I think this event changed my life

In 2022 I decided to study medicine. I was 20 years old when my parents went with me to the USFQ to ask about the entire process for get into medicine. It was terrible because I had 3 months to prepare 5 exam's: biology, chemistry, math, reasoning and literature. I thought that I couldn’t but I did it good the exam day.

In 2021 I got lost in the city of Cuenca, because with my family we went out to visit the city and at one point I could no longer find them after asking and asking where I was I was able to find the way to the hotel, that made me realize that I have to see the possible way out of a problem

In 2020, when COVID appeared, I was just finishing my 3rd semester, and I did well that semester. However, the next one was in virtual mode. I decided to continue studying despite that, but it was a big mistake because I realized that I don’t learn well in that mode. I had to drop out of 2 courses, which caused a delay in my career. When COVID ended and in-person classes resumed, I went back to studying, and now I am close to graduating.
