3) The reason we put these children into cages, is because of the lack of proper infrastructure along the southern border to house the people coming across the border.
4) Almost every administration since the turn of the 21st century has had situations including children being kept in cages
5) Children are not always kept in cages, when it happens it usually is due to a caravan of immigrants headed north or a unexpected crisis
6) The term "cages" refers to enclosed spaces enclosed by chain linked fences.
7) The vast majority of children being kept in cages for border security reasons, happen in facilities along the southern border
8) Most illegal border crossings are across the southern border
9) The policies leading to these children being kept in cages vary from administration to administration, meaning the president is usually in direct blame for the kids being kept in cages.
10) The children are being kept in cages because they are separated from there parents while Border Patrol identifies if they are actually the children's parents usually.

This injustice is still going on today, with over 30,000 migrant children in custody of US border patrol.
