This fascinating sci-fi movie was released in 2017 and directed by Peter Chelsom. It stars Asa Butterfield as a young boy named "Elliot" and Britt Robertson as a clever girl named "Tulsa".

A short summary of the plot

The movie is about humans in the future who had started colonizing Mars. Sarah Elliot, one of the astronauts in Mars dies while giving birth to her son, Gardner Elliot. Gardner, knowing so little about Earth and about his father, decides to prepare to visit Earth, in order to explore it and learn more about his father, with the help of an online friend he had made, Tulsa.

My opinion on the movie

I found the plot totally gripping from start to end. The spectacular special effects, along with the flawless acting, made the movie feel like real life. The characters are totally believable, especially Gardner, who gave us an idea of what it would be like to be born and raised in a different planet, knowing so little about life on Earth. Honestly, there was not a single thing about this movie, that disappointed me.

Would I recommend it?

I'd undoubtably recommend this to everyone, especially sci-fi fans and people who love movies with action. This is an amazing film and many people will like this as it includes action, drama and a little romance as well. So, why don't you go ahead and give it a shot? Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
