The New Year is all about setting new goals for yourself with the hopes of achieving them before the year ends.
Here are some of mine:

* Using most of my yarn stash before buying more yarn (probably won’t happen lol)
* Complete unfinished WIPs before starting other big projects
* Start a crochet club and teach people interesting in learning

Everyone talks about how hard it is to work with black yarn, but never multicolored yarn.😭 Currently working on a hat with a multicolored skein and my eyes are playing tricks on me when I try to go back and count my stitches.

So I have a 6 six year old godsister who wants to learn how to crochet. I’m trying to teach her, but it is very difficult because she is left handed. Comment below if you have any suggestions on ways I can learn how to crochet left-handed, so I can teach her.

Lundi Gras Outfit ✨

Last year, I created a Mardi Gras themed ruffle hat that gained a lot of attention. So this year, I knew I had to come even harder. Especially since I was going to be in New Orleans. The numbers across the front of the hat represented my city’s (Lafayette) area code. Originally, my outfit was just going to consist of the ruffle hat & the jumpsuit. But when trying it on, I felt like it was missing something. The night before I was meant to leave for my trip, the idea to add the arm cuffs and ruffle socks popped into my head. I’m so glad I decided to make them because it absolutely elevated the outfit and I got so many compliments. Also was thrown a really cute bead that went along great with my pieces.
