Create a padlet that reflects each of the main characters' endings by adding information into the columns. Fill in all the information under the correct headings. Use plenty of details and make sure you use YOUR OWN WORDS. No copying and pasting except for the Key Quote sections. Scroll to the right to complete columns for all THREE characters. Check the assignment in CANVAS for how to turn in your work.

Roderigo is characterized as somewhat weak and a bit on the whiny side. He's not a true military man and appears to be somewhere in the hierarchy of nobility as he has land that he will sell in order to "fill his purse" with money. (Which Iago eventually "bobs" for himself.") Roderigo is also very gullible and allows Iago to lead him on constantly. By Act 4, scene 3, Roderigo is ready to give up on Desdemona and go back to Venice, but Iago persuades him to try one more time for Des, and so Roderigo agrees to help kill Cassio.

Over the course of the play, Roderigo has become increasingly disillusioned with Iago's ability to help him get Desdemona. By Act 4, Scene 3, Iago has to persuade him again that he can still help Roderigo get Desdemona and Roderigo agrees to kill Cassio to accomplish this.

At the beginning of the play in Act 1, Roderigo comes across as Iago's sidekick who is working with him because he desires Desdemona for himself. His partnership with Iago is mostly friendly, but if they didn't have a common link, I don't think the two of them would spend much time together.

Desdemona wakes up and her and Othello talk about Desdemona cheating. Desdemona runs to the bedroom door screaming for help, but quickly Othello takes her back to the bed and smothers her. Outside the door, Emilia is screaming in curious for Othello to open the door. As he opens the door, Emilia sees that Desdemona is on the bed dead, but then Desdemona wakes up and says to Emilia that no one killed her. Sadly, Desdemona dies and Emilia says to Othello that he murdered Desdemona.
