         <description><![CDATA[<div>As students walk in, they should grab the handout from the front table. The bell work will already be up on the SmartBoard when the students enter the classroom. Ask the students, “Based on what we learned yesterday, tell me why death rates fell and population growth<br>rose during the Industrial Revolution in one to two sentences.” As I take roll, students will answer this question in their notebooks. They are allowed to use notes from the previous day. This activity should take about five minutes.</div>]]></description>

I will also ask them to tell me what they felt was more important from the information today. Put the sheet in the basket by the door on their way out of the classroom.</div>]]></description>
