A funny moment when I was a newly graduated teacher where 2 K1 students were playing with dolls and came over to me because they found some words at the back of the doll’s head. It read ‘made in China’. They had an Ah-ha! moment and commented the doll can speak in Chinese. What was impactful in that moment was that the need to know (curiosity) and the want to read can happen anywhere anytime. And the trust the students had on the teacher to guide them because they felt safe and comfortable to be guided.

Bond between me & the students / parents until now, that he/she was able to recognise or approach me when we met in public. Them sharing their achievements even in short conversations made my day and I feel good about it.

Not easy to please everyone. A parent sentence that still lingering "teacher ni...baru 3 bulan...dh buat feedback"

However, after she saw the improvement over the year, she was happy and acknowledge.

I feel that having good dynamic in the team is important. We are able to support each other and at the of the day, we feel happy and good that we have attained so much together in the year.

Challenges :

Dispute with an Asatizah. She has issue with my eyes 👀. (only Allah knows). She also had other issue with my other colleagues. Anyway, she no longer in MBK.
10yrs of experience teacher showing work attitude. Waiting to be ask - eg for evaluations, WAP, work display.

Working with a child who has behavioural issues, whose parent is a colleague. We really take time to talk and discuss the best way to help her child. It was not easy especially she's a good colleague and you need to be professional when handling the child.

Best moment is to see 90% of our parents are supportive and express concerns in their child’s learning development. They made effort to attend the PTC, Curriculum Orientation. Despite the fact that the sessions are over, the parents make effort to reach out to myself and my teachers in person on some teaching or caregiving strategies at home from time to time. Such evidence of parents active enrolment has set a clear benchmark for our teachers to always remember how their contributions had created a positive impact to the students and parents.
