The most challenging task for me was solving word problems involving combinations and permutations.
It was sometimes confusing to decide whether order mattered or not.
There were also times when I would mix up the formulas between permutations and combinations.
Understanding when to apply factorials also made some problems tricky.
However, I overcame this challenge by reviewing examples and practicing more.

This grading period, I worked hard to understand the lessons better.
I reviewed notes, answered practice questions, and clarified lessons I found difficult.
Even though I made some mistakes, I learned from them and improved.
I believe I have a better grasp of probability and sequences now.
I still need more practice with combinations and permutations, but I am more confident than before.

At first, I thought combinations and permutations were the same.
I believed that as long as I was choosing objects, it did not matter how.
Later, I realized that the order matters in permutations but not in combinations.
Another misconception I had was thinking sequences and series were interchangeable.
Now, I know that a sequence lists numbers while a series adds them together.

My best work this grading period was my performance task on sequences and series.
I was able to correctly solve all the given problems and explain my answers clearly.
I also organized my solutions neatly so they were easy to follow.
My teacher commented that my work showed a deep understanding of the topic.
This made me feel proud and motivated me to keep working hard in Math.

I think the Collaborative work I liked the best was the Dragon's Gold game I did with my friends. We won the class and batch game so I found it really fun.
