Communicating is a process of exchanging information, feelings and thoughts or the like, by writing and speaking, there is a sender and a receiver, well my name is Francis Diane Laguna Prado. I’m creative and I have three favorite social networks. They are Facebook, Instagram, and What’sApp. In this work I will talk about who I am and how are my habits of communicating in social networks.

I like to be active in my social media. In each of them I have a different habit. For example in Facebook I share memes and watch funny videos, I also interact with the post of my friends. I use Instagrams to edit and post photos of landscapes, sunset or myself. All of the above are examples of communicating with non-literal language, since I talk to people without even using words. But this last example is my biggest habit, I use What’sApp, in it I speak with my distant family, I send text messages to my friends attached with stickers or photos, and the best I can call my long distance family using video call while having a good time.

In conclusion, I can say that communications is very important, not only in the family dinner, but with everything around us. It should be noted that social networks contribute positively to effective communications with the applications that currently exist.

Hi I am Rubén A. Villegas Sánchez. I live in Juncos, Puerto Rico. I live in a countryside area, where you find fields, mountains, etc. I speak Spanish and English, most Spanish because is my first language. I don’t have any job, but if I had it, would be something like working behind a cash register in a departmental store. Nowadays, we can do more things thanks to the technology we can buy food online, communicate with someone from another part of the world, in fact look for jobs.

The technology opens many doors that favor the human being. I communicate with my family and friends via messages or the app WhatsApp, it’s an easy, safe and fast way to send a message. I spend about 2 to 3 hours on my phone, seeing posts or watching videos or movies. The websites that I like to see news or interesting posts are: El País, Mashable and Rotten Tomatoes.

In conclusion, social media can be very good in information and news and for others uses, but it can be very addictive. It can increase tiredness and insomnia in people and thanks to this they can probably be less productive. It’s good to consider how much time we spend on social medias to make a right and healthy use of it.
