COP SP critical practices - administrative/political level to access to equal jobs + countries do not have a solid legislation regarding inclusion + bureaucracy (a lot) + difficulties in homologation of the studies and sometimes the language anti-discrimination laws - in Spain there is not good laws related to anti-discrimination. In Spain we created market meetings - 'cuidadoras' taking care of elders e.g. - structural discrimination / certain jobs are 'established' to migrant women (eg farms in Andalucia) these are strategies created for migrant women - related to this is the temporary work

Especially regarding equal jobs and equal pay.

what do career counselling do when face such discriminations? do they react against? are they reinforcing? would they like to do more? Are they given more resources to do more? What about are won biases/ stereotypes (note: is very difficult to talk about this w/ career counselling professionals in both private/public services - they work with employers in the private sector. When we try to address this 1st barrier - interview (solution/ good practices they propose: ask as many questions as you can - where do you come from / what hobbies they have). Most of the times they see themselves with hands tie, because they are working for that employe.

Excuses - 'its my clients that don't like ...' they think they do not discriminate, they mention it is their clients. Good practices - interview - they should digg deeper. Find things people can do. Giulia - I wonder how often they try to do it. Marta - they said the opposite - they are more likely to propose things that migrant women (on their own) think they cannot do it, sometimes is the employer who are helping women to overcome their own barriers/fear. Critical practices IT - burocracy/ education recognition. Members of the COP - what they can do is to try to work on path that will help them to understand what is discrimination and avoid such behavior - i.e. in next month ngo will open a project to work on inclusion process for employers - maybe its is good to referal these NGO/projects

Some migrant women they think they are not capable to perform certain jobs. In Spain we do not have a legal way to enter the country (there is a distinction between european mgrants and non-european migrants). In most cases women that do not believe in themselves they have a lifestory very difficult - maybe the issue related to legal way to enter the country (special south global countries) has an impact in the type of migration. Intersectionality - legal barriers important.

Family care is a barrier. Public services if they present the migrants with flexible part-time jobs. They try to present care givers jobs. Many times women with migrayory background they do not have access to their rights (ie to ask part-time job). Lack of information/ or access to information. Recognise informal/formal skills.
