Many thanks to Siobhan and Joe for taking up the suggestion to set up this area for SS3031 supervisors to share resources and ideas and to Becci for setting up this Padlet. What's been added already looks really useful and looking forward to adding to them myself. So far, I know my students have benefited from the first workshop and are really appreciating having access to some of the CARL research projects available online for reference. Visualising what a whole dissertation looks like, and the rough shape that its chapters might take, is something that makes a big difference in taking some of the fear out of the initial part of their work on this module.

For those interested, later this month (18th Nov) there's a research supervision training session in UCC which you can sign up for. It looks like it might be geared toward postgraduate research supervision but presumably there are a lot of transferable skills to make it relevant for supervisors on this module. The signup link is below: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/supervisor-training-tickets-79513227203
