The victim shouldnt have accepted the friend request from someone she doesnt know in the first place, which resulted her to be involved in a love scam with a stranger. She could have ignored the friend request instead.

No, i have not heard of any of my friends who were involved in a love scam before but if i were to have such a friend, i would advise him/her to report this to the police and let the police handle the situation and also learn from their mistakes.
