The presentation dinner for the Men’s & Ladies Club Championships on Saturday evening at 6:30pm (with food served from 7:00pm). It would be fantastic if everyone could attend. Participants and families are all welcome and the evening will involve a 3 course meal @ 75 SAR pp for adults and 35 SAR for children. As with last year, the dress code for this event will be smart casual.

On behalf of my fellow Captains Tom and Nee, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part in the gents and ladies competitions and to all those at Safaa who worked around the clock to make the whole weekend very special. It was a tremendous team effort - everyone had a role to play and each person played it extremely well.

My final thanks goes to Jose Alimania who captured the event in photograph and video. Jose has created some video footage with highlights from the weekend - these are currently playing in the Safaa reception area and will appear here soon.

During the above period, the Guys will be carrying out essential agronomic maintenance works on the golf course. This will enable us to improve the overall health of the course during the summer months and will include works such as aeration, weed grass control and will also begin long-term improvements to the course such as the extension to the size of a number of greens.

 

During this period, you may notice work being carried out by our green-keeping team throughout the day and although the golf course will not be closed, there may be less than perfect playing surfaces and areas defined as G.U.R. Please be patient with the staff if they are working on an area ahead of your play.

 

We appreciate your support as we begin to improve our golf course ready for the 2017-18 season
