It is obvious that the problem of waste in the seas and oceans needs to be solved by the whole world and as soon as possible! The solution proposed by environmentalists is reasonable. In their opinion, humanity as a whole should, if not completely abandon plastic and polyethylene, then at least reduce its consumption to the minimum.
Sonya M.

1) Use as little chemical as possible when cleaning the house. This simple step can make a big difference. The use of toxic chemicals such as bleach or ammonia is not only harmful to water resources, but simply not necessary. Natural cleansers are also effective for taking care of a household, but they do not harm the environment and water resources of the planet.
2) Dispose of waste properly. Never dispose of sewage that does not decompose. When you use toxic substances such as paints or ammonia, take steps to properly dispose of them. If you do not know how to properly dispose of them, consult a hazardous waste collection point or look for information on the Internet. Here is a list of some substances that can never be drained into the sewer:
•Paints
•Motor oil
•Solvents and cleaners
•Ammonia
•Pool chemicals

Y.N
Baikal’s endemic species have evolved over tens of thousands, perhaps millions, of years, to occupy niches that may never have been disturbed before the last three or four decades.
The lake’s unique ecology stems from its physical properties. Baikal is the oldest lake in world; it started forming over 25 million years ago when a fissure in the continent began to open up. It is also the planet’s deepest lake, averaging 744m deep and going down to 1642m in places, due to a tectonic pulse that made the rift’s shoulders rise up while the bottom continued to deepen.

Take a look at the sea in the offseason, when there are few tourists. Surely, you will pay attention to the unexpectedly large amount of sea-littered sea garbage.
Objects carried by waves from the sea to the coast have long attracted the curiosity of collectors and lovers of the unusual. They are associated with different romantic stories, like, for example, in poems by Japanese poet Shimazaki Toson: “A lone coconut nailed to the shore, from a distant unfamiliar island ...” However, today, against the backdrop of mass production and consumption of industrial products, such items have become an acute problem and some regions have great difficulty in collecting and disposing of sea-litter thrown out by the waves and accumulated on the shore.
Such garbage not only spoils the beautiful seascapes, but also has a negative impact on marine life. In addition, garbage is not only thrown onto the shores, most of it remains in the water and accumulates on the seabed, from where it is difficult to clean.
10B💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
