Why wouldn't I, it was a moment to remember forever. It was almost mid-March when we heard the news about a world pandemic. This was a national problem that caused great distress among countries. When me and my fellow classmates heard about us having to “quarantine”, mixed emotions were flooding the campus. On one side, we had people that were very anxious and horrified by these new diseases. They were immediately covering their faces and dumping hand sanitizer faster than I can say the phrase “water bottle”.  On the other hand, people were extremely enthusiastic that there wouldn't be anymor physical school. Also, I think they were more excited about a two week spring break. Because of all these diverse emotions, there were different reactions. People that we're worried about the new virus reacted toward the right way but was excessive. This virus was highly deadly now living in a world with it almost for 3 years. However, thinking that everyone has the disease and running away from people in my opinion is an overreaction. There were also under reactions, mostly from the people that were happy about missing school. Since all they cared about was not doing school, they didn't even acknowledge the fact that a disease which killed over millions of people just step foot into this country. I first thought of playing sports outside but playing by yourself it's really fun. I tried new things like cooking and other entertainment options until I found one. Fortunately, I found one interest that allowed me to never get bored and to socialize with friends. Online games. I wasn't really interested in games until I started playing. The games I play as action packed and super fun. Some games are clash royale, Minecraft, and fortnite. These games are really enjoyable and I get to interact with my comrades since we were in isolation. These games allowed me to get through the tough, brutal pandemic and created optimism within me. However, it wasn't just video games that was created in my list of interests. A newly found interest that striked me was tennis. Since tennis was the only Covid friendly sport, I gave it a try. At first, I wasn't the best but many practices later and I can officially say that I am a solid tennis player.
