The first reason why the youth nowadays are entitled to higher living standard is that they are able to enjoy a high quality education system. To be more specific, many teachers are well trained and accumulate much teaching experience, so students are guided thoroughly on their path to conquer the frontiers of new knowledge/ to broaden their horizon. Moreover, most of schools tend to be equipped with sufficient modern facilities and technology, such laboratories and projectors, to facilitate the practices of learning for students. Rich material resources are also made available on the internet where students can get access to these archives at their convenience.

Another benefit/ advantage that young generation could be given is the quality healthcare system. Unlike the past, many doctors nowadays are properly educated, and they have to go through years of hardship in training. Therefore/ Hence, they are qualified to handle complicated operations and examine terminal illnesses. Furthermore, much money has been allocated to update modern medical facilities, which is far different from what could be observed in rundown hospitals decades ago.

Some opponents might argue that senior citizens and those of the past generations used to live in such a healthy living environment with no signs of air or water pollution/ contamination, but these phenomenon of environmental contamination has become increasingly severe due to sewage and toxic chemical emissions from factories and households. However, many national/ state leaders in the contemporary society are fully aware of negative/ adverse impacts of pollution, and they are taking many effective/ practical measures to prevent them from getting worse. For example/ instance, some governments introduce/ enact new laws to ban companies/ factories from emitting many substances into the environment.
