safety - educating on what the home should look like, safety in home, bath and etc... 

support groups - TONS! 

TON of collaborative care -PT, ST, OT, and ...

behavior modification - takes a little bit longer, and educate on communication to help develop the verbal cues. 

If caregivers are stressed - normal feeling for parents -- due to guilt, changes, and go through the stages of grief with this! 

Assess the parents on depression, caregiver role strain, and etc... 

Support systems for the family, caregivers, and the pt. 

guilt - how do you support - counseling for the family, individual counseling, listen and be an ear and care. use communication tools to dissect what they need.

** Tricyclics
**stimulants 

Try alternative interventions 1st and then turn to medications. Discuss these alt treatments and make sure they are safe. 

Gluten free and preservative free diets. 

IEP and 504 (no medical order nec.) - if an actual dx is required for services. OR if something is needed outside of the needs.
