One of his most famous prophetic books is "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell," which contains a collection of aphorisms and poems that explore the nature of human existence, spirituality, and the relationship between opposites. While the entire book is rich in thought-provoking material, I'll provide an excerpt that can be applied to life in a more general sense:


"Without Contraries is no progression. Attraction and Repulsion, Reason and Energy, Love and Hate, are necessary to Human existence. From these contraries spring what the religious call Good & Evil. Good is the passive that obeys Reason. Evil is the active springing from Energy."
