It has a rounded collar with silver buttons and three-quarter-length sleeves. There are pieces of fabric that could be tied into bows. This dress is loosely inspired by the 1950s in terms of the theme and pattern but it is more modern since it is flowy and not fitted in the waist like traditional dresses in the 1050s. Again the theme represents indulgence through the idea of comfort foods representing how investing in fashion and shopping has become of a source of comfort for people, especially during periods of emotional distress and is used a coping mechanism for some. It is an existing hat I already owned and decorated. This hat is decorated to look like a bowl of spaghetti. I have added yellow beads around the brim to represent spaghetti noodles and top of the hat has a paper plate with glitter and red beads meant to represent the spaghetti sauce and meat. I also glued down a fork and knife. This dress is inspired by the 18th century and garments worn by Marie Antoinette but is not made to be historically accurate. Originally I had made a corset along with this top but choose to use this one as the final piece since I felt it fit my theme better. This top is a modern interpretation of the round gowns that became fashionable around the 1789 french revolution where women wore dresses that were simple and did not make use of panniers or various undergarments that enhanced the volume of the gown.
